Re: Supply chain issues due to the Coronavirus
From: Mark Shapiro – President
The Coronavirus has put an unprecedented strain on many of our manufacturers. In particular, those who make soap, sanitizers, any type of disinfectant, sprayers, gloves, and masks. We also expect to see it trickle down to some secondary product categories, like toilet tissue, towels, etc…due to panic buying. We want to assure our customers we are doing everything possible to procure as much of these types of products as possible. Having said that here are the facts:
ALL sources for the above-mentioned products have instituted an allocation protocol. Put simply, we will receive product based on our past 12 months average purchases and some overage (NOT MUCH). It doesn’t matter to our suppliers who the customer is or how many cases we ordered! Their goal is to ensure all current Distributors received some product, therefore, we can only ship your normal usage. In some cases we won’t even have enough to do this.
Lead times – for any orders you place with us for these products the lead time will be at least three to four weeks. THAT WON’T CHANGE UNTIL WE SEE A DECLINE OF THE VIRUS!
IF and when other product categories become affected, we will update you immediately.
Our suggestion is to place any orders immediately so that you are in the queue. You can always cancel!
We will continue to look for any alternative sources to help fill your orders but all manufacturers seem to be in the same situation despite working 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
We will not be accepting returns for these types of products, so please order carefully!
We appreciate your understanding during this crazy time. We wanted to give you the facts as we know them today!
Thank you for your patience and appreciate your understanding.
STAY WELL!!
Sincerely,
Mark Shapiro – President
